Thank you for requesting information on our driver education programs. We hope the following will answer all of your questions.
The Academy of Driving was founded in 1990 and has become the leading driving school in the Tucson area. Academy of Driving is state approved for driver education and training. Our goal is to teach the theory and practical skills required to learn how to drive in today's fast and complex driving environment.
Our trainers
Our Traffic Trainers are carefully selected and have a genuine interest in road safety with a background in transportation education. They are fingerprinted and screened by the Department of Public Safety and the F.B.I. In addition to passing a Motor Vehicle Division examination, they have successfully completed the Academy's extensive training program.
Our cars
Our vehicles are automatic, have an extra brake and mirror for the trainers and have a sign on top and the back window that alerts others to the student drivers. Our vehicles are maintained to the highest standard and regularly serviced.
